Gaia Association and Ecovillage
If
you are willing to visit us for an educational experience,
you can participate in any course or program (see calendar)
If you preffer
to come as short-term visitor out of the programs,
yo can come any week end, that we offer a guide tour.
The cost for the week end is us$25 (includes vegetarian food and
accommodation from saturday to sunday). You can stay further, the
cost for extra day is us$15 per day.
Please
arrange your visit with anticipation,
in order to be sure we are able to receive you.
The Ecovillage project is located in Navarro, in a rural area 120km from Buenos
Aires City. So you will have a long way...

Once in the city you ask for directions on how to get to Primera Junta by subway or taxi.
You have to look for the bus station (in Yerbal 681, 20mts from Colpayo street), were you take the bus # 136 to Navarro (6,60$ in coins!, 3hs). Only some buses per day, call for schedules to 4903-0244
all know were it is (12$, 15 minutes). If it's raining hard and the remis cant get by the main road, ask him to leave you in the other entrance (orange & white pole) and you can walk to Gaia (aprox 1500mt)

We would like to share some basic guidelines of co-existence to make your stay here pleasurable and happy for everyone:
- We encourage the conscious usage of energy (lighting, water, gas, wood) in order to avoid waste.
- We separate organic from inorganic waste. We classify and recycle containers of various materials. We don't throw papers, plastic, cigarette butts, etc. to the floor. Please take non-recyclable items with you (i.e. diapers, used batteries, etc.)
- If you want to collaborate, we welcome your participation in the programmed community activities. If you have a different task to propose, please check it out with the residents first. When we finish our tasks we clean the tools and tidy up the work place.
- We share maintenance and cleaning of common spaces (dining areas, bathrooms, living rooms, etc.). We request that the bedrooms are left tidy and the floors swept. Please do not use toxic/chemical cleaning products.
- We share a meals schedule. Our diet is natural and vegetarian.
- We request that no alcoholic beverages, drugs or hallucinogenic substances be consumed in the premises.
- Smoking in closed areas or galleries is not allowed, and smokers are requested to keep their cigarette butts in a bag, and take them back with them.
- Fires are allowed in the dance circle and tipi only, in order to avoid forest fires.
- A cellular phone is available to receive messages: 02272492072. It can be used for emergency calls, at a cost of $1 per minute.
